FIELD TRIP

                      Leadership And Out Bound Training

on 09th and 10th December 2017 all the 1st and 2nd years of software engineering students organized this leadership and out bound training.we are all together more than 70 students and one lectures and two demos  including our Sarasi madam came with us and we went to Trincomalee navy camp. 

                                                       FIRST DAY

We started our journey at early morning 3:30 am in our university and their were two buses for our  journey. so after some enjoyable time with our friends into the bus. then we all varied and sang the song.in the kandalai we all stop the buses and take some photographs.

Near 10:30 am we reached the naval dockyard and go to the accommodation place and change our cloths to suitable for programs.After that we go for the lunch and one of the navy officer gave us a introduction about the programs.

after that we went to the marble beech. we were separated into four groups and i was in team delta first day activities were started.

First Activity 
There is a square shape frame were hanged and 8 members have to go from one side to other side without any touching movements on that frame.so one of us pass to the square other members help to pass the square to him or her.there we learned how to solve the problem in a situation.

 
Second Activity
ten people from the group were participate in this game.one is the leader and other nine are the players. All nine have a small PVC and stand in a line.leader put a marble in the one side of the pipe and we have to pass the marble through nine people without drop that and we have to pass the end line.here we learn how to obey the leader's command and cooperate with others.

Third Activity 
In this game they have us bricks and each of every one in the team wants to keep the brick in their stomach and the person who in front wants to keep that brick without falling down by pushing it with his back and also the other condition was every one wants to keep their hands on the back side of the head then the group asked to move to the boundary line without fall down any bricks if any bricks fall down then the team want to start from the beginning. we did with our great effort two times we unknownly   failed follow rules but we just nailed it we didn't made our bricks to fall down had great team work.

Fourth Activity

this is the very interesting game.A plastic pipe with some holes was given to us and we have to fill that. we have to close one open end by keep that one one of our team member stomach.in our group kishanth kept the pipe in his stomach.after that we can close other holes by other team member's hand and we have to fill that by carrying water from sea by our hands and mouth. it's very funny and we learn the team work from that. 

Firth Activity
it is a volley ball but something different.four of us keep a cloth and one has to put the ball on it. and we have to throw the ball over the net and another one in other side of the net has catch the ball. this is really challenging game. we learn team work from it.

Sixth Activity

This is Tug of War.two teams were participated and winning team will play with other team.This is the very big lesson for us to learn team work.

Camp fire and Dinner

Near 6 pm we return to accommodation and get ready for dinner in formal dress.after that we returned the same place and make a camp fire and do some activities like drama,singing songs and dance.I participated in the drama. After that we had our dinner and returned to the accommodation place.

                                                          SECOND DAY

we all got up early in the morning and at 7:30 am we went to take the breakfast then we was arranged by the officers.After that we were divided into four groups.and the task is we have to go through the forest by using compass.it's very interesting.inside the forest one of the officer acted as a injured man so we have to act how to help him.that is very interesting also. finally we reached the destination and had a juice.

After that we visited to the Navy Museum. that is very nice and interesting place.one of the officer explain all the things in there.That's a very nice experience to us and it helped us to know something about ships and other some sea related things and other same LTT of things.

after that we had our lunch in a place.Finally we thanked the Navy officers and near 3.30 pm we leave from there and arrived our university.

we learn a lot of things about the leadership,team work and how to manage a problem in a situation and etc.but this trip is really very good and big experience for us and enjoyed.
